Accelerated Certified Financial Planning

2007 CLASS SCHEDULE

The Accelerated CFP® Certification Education Program at The Ohio State University will be offered only once during 2007. Courses will meet for the classroom-instruction segment on the following schedule:

Financial Planning Process and Insurance: March 29–April 1, 2007
Investment Planning: May 10–13, 2007
Income Tax Planning: June 21–24, 2007
Employee Benefit and Retirement Planning: August 9–12, 2007
Estate Planning: September 20–23, 2007
Comprehensive Review Course: October 25–28, 2007

Each four-day class meets 8:00am – 5:00pm Thursday – Saturday, and 8:00am – 2:00pm Sunday. Classes are held in the Office of Continuing Education (Mount Hall) on The Ohio State University’s West Campus in Columbus. Classrooms are designed for adult education. Convenient parking is available.

Students who satisfactorily complete the five regular courses of the 2007 program cycle (first five courses listed above) will have met all the education requirements to take the November 2007 CFP® Certification Exam.


Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame logo)®, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements. The Ohio State University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame logo)® certification marks. CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience, and examination requirements. Continuing Education non-credit course discounts do not apply to courses in the CFP® Certification Education Program.
