The Ohio State University Office of Extended Education (EEd) is committed to offering diverse, quality programs and services that create a desire for lifelong learning. One of those programs is Program 60, which is administered by EEd.
Ohio residents age 60 or older are invited to enrich their lives through experiencing the academic excellence and world-renowned research available at The Ohio State University. Each year, hundreds of Ohioans take advantage of this tuition-free, noncredit program to connect to the university community. Program 60 students attend undergraduate and graduate-level courses through Program 60 on a space-available basis. Classes are offered noncredit/non-degree.
Convenient online registration is available for Program 60 participants four weeks prior to the academic semester. Select REGISTRATION located at the top left of this page. To read Program 60 General Information, click here.
To receive the semester calendar and important news, contact (614) 292-8860. Request to have your e-mail added to Program 60 for communication notices.
Many Program 60 participants are members of the Program 60 Association; however, participation in Program 60 is not a requirement. Lectures, luncheons, peer interaction, and much more are offered to the members. Volunteer opportunities are available for members to give back to The Ohio State University. Yearly membership dues are $5.00 beginning September 1, 2012 – August 31, 2013. For additional information e-mail osupgm60@iserv.net.
E-mail is the primary source of communication. To assure receipt of information, please provide regular updates for your personal email to the Program Coordinator via ExtendedEd@esue.ohio-state.edu or call (614) 292-8860. Free e-mail accounts can be obtained using Google(Gmail), Yahoo, and other search engines. Only current faculty/staff and emeritus professors may use their Ohio State e-mail address as their personal address.
