Effective Public Speaking
Your voice can be a great asset or a major liability. Preparation, including audience analysis and adaptation, enhances the effectiveness of public speaking. Through this course, you can improve the quality of your speaking voice by developing and delivering persuasive messages using supporting materials. You will also learn to speak with energy, warmth, and enthusiasm — qualities that can help you become more successful in your business, professional, and personal lives. 16 hours

Speaking Experience Impromptu Speaking Speaking Experience Lunch Break: 12:00 – 1:00 Afternoon Session 1: 1:00 – 2:30 Delivery Diction and Articulation Rate Captivating the Audience with your Voice Speaking Experience Afternoon Break: 2:30 – 2:45 Afternoon Session 2: 2:45 – 4:30 Body Language and Poise Eye contact, posture, voice Poise Informative Speaking Developing an Outline Speaking Experience Individual Speaking Evaluation Sessions: 4:30 – 5:30 Meet individually with the instructor to discuss your public speaking style.
