The rationale for strategic planning, conditions necessary for strategic
planning, a strategic planning model and the differences between
strategic and tactical planning.
Week 2:
Articulating vision, mission, relationship and organizational
values – getting them right first and foremost.
Week 3:
Analysis of organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities
and threats; and analysis of lines of business, programs or services;
gap analysis.
Week
4:
Setting strategic priorities, establishing goals and objectives,
developing an action plan for year one, evaluating the plan and
evaluating the model.
